What voice commands work with your Echo or Nest speakers?
You can operate almost every function of your Boston smart home through your preferred AI assistant. See the condition of your smart components, transfer to a pre-determined setting, or tinker with the details of a setting by simple vocal commands. Or command your Nest or Echo speaker to organize your entire security system in the same way as you can with the Vivint smartphone app.
Check out a few voice commands you are able to give to Alexa or Google:
-
“Change my security system to away.”
-
“Latch the back door.”
-
“Switch off my bedroom light.”
-
“Did I leave the garage door open?”
-
"Record a clip of my indoor camera."
-
"Turn down the heat 2 degrees."
-
“Turn off the bedroom light in half an hour.”
You can also program in routines in your Google Home or Alexa smartphone app that leverage many functions. For example, say "Google, I'm going out," and arm your alarms, adjust the thermostat, and lock the doors. Or craft a scene for "tv night" and order the command to power off the lights and move the temperature to just the right level.
